Autumn Equinox Dance Sept. 27th

Bring songs to sing from 5 until 6:30 – we’re going with an animal theme this time.

Please bring a dish to share during the potluck, and a plate and utensils for yourself, if you want to be environmentally friendly.

Beginners are welcome at this dance – contra dancing is for everyone, regardless of experience!

I am hosting semi-seasonal dances in my barn in Hillsdale (near Ghent/Chatham) and your dance community might like to come! Perpetual Emotion played in June and Stewart Kenny and friends will be here in a couple of weeks. I wanted to have flyers ready for your last dance but was not able to.
    The info is at
We also host a community pot-luck and sing-a-long every second Friday of the month that may interest some of you. I have an events email that goes out form time to time if you would like to join, let me know!
    Best Wishes,
The next dance is Sunday October 19th at 4:00pm – community pot luck, pumpkin carving, bonfire. Family dancing at about 5:30pm followed by a dance for all ages.
